Fantastic images and always amazing to see the love and care you put into your animals.

It got down to 64F here in the early mornings lately, I've sometimes had to put on a t-shirt when I go out in the mornings.

Amazing work caring for newborns in that weather. Tube feeding and heat lamps for those weak twins probably saved thier lives. The timing of three sets of twins during a snowstorm is intense, nature doesn't wait for ideal conditions. Having ducks in the shower is such a practical farmlife solution, bet they loved all that water access even in temporary housing.

Yes - luckily Dr. Rachael was home that day. The night before Elijah was violently ill and we figured we were all in for a bout with a bad stomach bug. So Rachael called into work for a day off. That saved the lambs. I would have put them in the barn out of the weather with their mama, but that would not have been sufficient to save them. She went the extra mile to milk out the mama, tube the babies, and diagnose their bowel condition. You are totally correct.

These pictures are gorgeous. I swear some of the sheep look like they're smiling.

They are probably smiling because I am brining them a grain snack! They see me twice a day, at least, and I almost always mean food.
